Logistic regression puzzle

Dear experts,

a colleague wants to do a logistic regression with NOMREG and gets this result:


Case Processing Summary
N Marginal Percentage
test ,00 358 35,8%
1,00 642 64,2%
Valid 1000 100,0%
Missing 0
Total 1000
Subpopulation 221a*
*a The dependent variable has only one value observed in 131 (59,3%) subpopulations.

Q. 1: What does "Subpopulation" and the number 221 refer to?
Q. 2: What is the meaning of remark a and the number 131?

Here's her syntax:

NOMREG test (BASE=FIRST ORDER=ASCENDING) WITH
